What we do

Graphic Arts Rubber offers a broad range of established compounds, the capability to custom engineer products, and the ability to mix your proprietary recipes. Material can be supplied in slab, strip, or calendered form.

Of all of the mixing methods available, we believe that open-mill mixing assures the most thorough dispersions and results in a more consistent and quality product. As such, open-mill mixing is standard for most compounds offered by Graphic Arts Rubber.

Since 1971, we have developed a large data bank of formulations including, but not limited to; Natural, Styrene Butadiene, Butyl, Halobutyls, Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (Hypalon®), Chloroprene (Neoprene), Nitrile, Carboxylated Nitrile, Epichlorohydrin (Hydrin®), EPDM, Polyacrylate, Hydrogenated Nitrile, and Polybutadiene.

Custom calendering is our specialty. We are capable of calendering materials from .020 to .500 inch thick and up to 60 inches in width. We can supply our compounds calendered or we can calender yours.

Quality samples are taken both during and after each production run to assure strict specification guidelines are met. Prior to leaving our facility, each and every product passes through multiple quality stations to guarantee our customers receive the product they expect and deserve. Certificates of Conformance are provided upon request.

For those applications requiring formula or compound development, we work together with our customer to fully understand their needs. From this effort, recipes are developed and tested in our state-of-the-art R&D and laboratory facilities.
